2006 Annual Assessment

The 2006 Annual Assessment is designed to outline and evaluate the state and dynamics of the world Jewry from multiple perspectives and to assess anticipated changes in the future. Its objective is to prepare a comprehensive and multi-dimensional annual overview that is revised to reflect trends and changes in the situation and dynamics affecting the Jewish people.

This comprehensive qualitative and quantitative review presents indicators and indices illustrating key topics, issues and trends under analysis. These include, inter alia, demography, cohesion of the Jewish people, Jewish education, Jewish culture, the State of Israel, geo-political and socio-economic trends, the media and public opinion and anti-Semitism. Analysis will be conducted through the prism of three primary spheres: the Jewish community throughout the world, Israel and global developments.
