De-Legitimization and the Crisis of Jewish Particularity

 Jewish particularity has become a problem for the state of Israel in its attempt to fit into the contemporary, universal globalized world order. Just as the individual Jew represent a crisis for European modernity, so the collective Jew, the State of Israel, represents a crisis for the contemorary globalized world order.
