President of the Jewish People Policy Institute and Professor (emeritus) in the Faculty of Law at Bar-Ilan University. Graduated from the law faculty of Bar-Ilan and Harvard Law School (doctorate). Former Dean of the Faculty of Law at Bar-Ilan University, and Senior Fellow at the Israel Democracy Institute (IDI), where he served as Vice President for Research for a decade. Member of many public committees, and public intellectual. Expert in commercial law (corporations, mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance and corporate governance) and public law (constitutional law, religion and state, human rights, law and Halacha). Stern has served on various company Boards of Directors including, currently, Bank Leumi. Stern is a Co-Chair of JPPI’s Thin Constitution project.
