2021 Annual Assessment

The three dimensions JPPI’s Antisemitism Index looks at are: 1) antisemitic attitudes; 2) antisemitic incidents; and 3) Jewish confidence in their home countries to protect them. Despite the fact that the first and second dimension has not changed significantly, the level of worry among Jews (the third dimension) spiked. This decline in confidence reflects the seriousness of the anti-Jewish incidents that occurred during the year (nontheless the decline in numbers, which may in any case reflect the pandemic).
