Debating Religion and State and “Distancing”
The debate concerning the erosion of the feeling of closeness of young Jewish Americans toward Israel has been going on for several years, and it appears that it will keep researchers busy in the foreseeable as well. One of the main reasons for this gap, according to JPPI fellow Shmuel Rosner, lies in the question of the relationship between religion and state in Israel.
